Renewal Orders

For CPM-DairyV3 users who need to renew the software license, a one-time permanent registration is available for $100(US). Upon confirmation of your renewal, you will receive a registration link via email that will allow you to register a primary and secondary copy of CPM-DairyV3 for your personal use. One year activations will no longer be available.

To begin the renewal process, you will need your Product ID. This is your CPM-Dairy "license number". Do not confuse this ID with the Client ID ("computer ID") that appears on the CPM-Dairy Registration Pop-up. You may find the Product ID on original distribution media or in your purchase records or in email correspondence with Support.

Although this process should not affect any of your previous work in CPM-Dairy, it is highly recommended that you back up any session (.ssn), feedbank (.fdb) or mix (.mix) files that you have created before beginning this process!

(1) Remove Version 3.0.8 and install Version 3.0.10 from the Download Page. See instructions on page. You may download and install the software at any time. The software will run for 30 days before a lease key will be required.

(2) Purchase permanent registration via the Renew Page.

(3) When your renewal has been processed (this may take a couple of days) you will receive an email containing your registration link and instructions for a single user to register CPM-Dairy permanently on up to two computers. Note that when two copies of CPM-Dairy are installed, only the licensed user may legally use those copies of CPM-Dairy.

Permanent Registration Requires New Software Installation!

To take advantage of permanent registration, you must re-install CPM-DairyV3 from the download section of this website. On your computer, be sure that your "CPM Dairy Registration" pop-up window indicates Version 3.0.10 to activate. Older versions showing 3.0.8V or 3.0.8V01 may not be permanently activated. Do not attempt to use older Client IDs or Lease Keys. Only your Product ID ("license number") does not change.

About CPM-Dairy V3

CPM-Dairy is a program to evaluate and formulate Dairy cattle rations.

The proper use of CPM-Dairy will control feed cost, promote animal health and production, and help minimize environmental pollutants.
The program allows dairy rations to be formulated or evaluated for heifers, dry cows as well as lactating cows.
Feed Dictionaries are included to provide guidelines of the feed analyses to be used for the development of rations.
Nutrient requirements are determined by the physiological state of the animal (body weight, milk production level, milk composition, growth rate) as well as environmental factors (temperature, wind chill, coat matting, etc.).

The program uses the mathematical techniques of linear and nonlinear programming to formulate least-cost rations and ensure that the nutrient requirements of the rumen microbes and cow are met. These methods will identify which ingredients should be fed as well as how much should be fed for each ration.

CPM-Dairy is a joint product from Cornell University, the University of Pennsylvania and the William H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute.
